De Wakke Memorial werd met 20-10 gewonnen door gelegenheidsploeg de Bospoepers tegen het samengestelde Schotse team Evie Tate. Evie Tate is de naam van de aanstaande vrouw van de vrijgezel ter ere van wie dit team een weekend België organiseerde.

Dear Maarten,
On behalf of the Evie Tate team can I say what a great day we had. The
organisation was 1st class and everyone involved in running the tournament
friendly and helpful. We had a superb night and as is the point of rugby made
a lot of friends.
I really hope it was successful from your point of view, I think we spent a
fair bit on the beer!! It was a shame as a Welshman, that one team from Wales
seemed to show no interest in mixing or taking full part. Their loss.
Once again thank you, one of the most enjoyable days we've had for years.
